Beyond Tutoring: Dyadic ADHD Coaching.

We don't just coach the child. We train you to become your child's "External Prefrontal Cortex," helping them bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

Coach the Child.
Train the Parent.

ADHD is not a knowledge problem; it is an implementation problem. Skills learned in a clinic rarely transfer home unless the environment changes.

The Clinical-School Approach: Dr. Amy trains you to move from Managing (doing it for them) to Coaching (prompting them to do it). We give you the scripts, the environmental designs, and the strategies to intervene at the "Point of Performance"—where the struggle actually happens.

The Parent-Coach Curriculum

Our modular curriculum is customized to your child's neurotype, focusing on building independence through clinical scaffolding.

Scaffolding & Systems

Not Tutoring. We don't teach math; we teach the process of doing math. We train you to build visual "ramps" (checklists, timers, launchpads) that bypass working memory deficits.

Environment Design Visual Anchors
Metacognitive Prompts

Stop nagging ("Get your bag") and start coaching ("What do you need for gym class?"). We teach you the specific questioning techniques that force your child's brain to switch on.

Questioning Techniques Self-Monitoring
Co-Regulation

An ADHD brain cannot calm itself down. We train you to lend your calm nervous system to your child during a meltdown, using clinical de-escalation scripts.

De-escalation Crisis Management
School Translation

Dr. Amy bridges the gap between home and school. We teach you how to translate your child's diagnosis into specific, reasonable accommodations for teachers.

Common Questions

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy often focuses on "why" we feel things and processing the past. Coaching focuses on the "how." It is forward-looking, action-oriented, and focused on building specific mechanisms to handle daily life challenges like homework, morning routines, and friendships.

Does my child need a diagnosis first?

No. While a diagnosis helps us understand your child's brain, we coach based on traits and functional struggles. If your child has trouble with focus or emotional regulation, these strategies will work regardless of the official label.

What age is this for?

Our parent-child coaching model is most effective for children aged 6 to 14. For older teenagers (15+), we often transition to individual coaching sessions with regular parent check-ins.

Is this done online or in-person?

We offer both. However, many families find Tele-Coaching highly effective because we can see the child in their natural home environment—where the actual struggles with homework and routines happen—allowing us to suggest "Point of Performance" changes.
