Clinical Psychologist | PhD
Dr. Belinda is a registered clinical psychologist with a focus in pediatric psychology, having completed her doctoral training in the US and residency at a state hospital for children and adolescents in Michigan. Her background includes working as a trained teacher and school counselor with Singapore's Ministry of Education.
Since 2002, she has worked with diverse populations in Singapore and the US, across settings including community clinics, schools, university clinics, and a neuropsychiatric hospital.
She specializes in supporting children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, identity confusion, and neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Her experience also extends to helping children facing trauma and high levels of stress.
Dr. Belinda is committed to family-wide support, offering tailored strategies and training to parents and caregivers to manage complex behaviors and reduce family stress. Her approach is strengths-based and integrative, utilizing play-based interventions for younger children, alongside traditional counseling for adolescents.
